Review of the International Football Summit 2011
On November 15th, 2011, the eighth annual SPORT+MARKT International Football Summit took place in Dorint Hotel am Heumarkt, Cologne. More than 200 guests from 17 different countries attended the exclusive invitation-only congress and experienced a fascinating array of informative presentations, held by renowned speakers from football business, and discussions. Directors and managers from the likes of Univé, AUDI, BetClic, Galatasaray SK, the Asian Football Confederation and Borussia Dortmund provided marketing insights and discussed marketing strategies, exclusively for our attendants.
At the end of the congress, our ‘Champions Table’ discussion analysed major current issues in sport business, with experts from FC Barcelona, Ajax Amsterdam, Shakhtar Donetsk and Borussia Dortmund.
Later in the evening, official proceedings gave way to a relaxed get-together at Harry's New York Bar with the chance to watch the friendly football match between Germany and the Netherlands.
