International Motorsport Summit 2012

SPORT+MARKT and REPUCOM International are proud to host our first International Motorsport Summit on March 1st, 2012 at the Nürburgring. Key players from across the motorsport business will be attending this invitation-only congress. We are delighted to introduce this new event series, responding to and designed specifically to meet the special requirements of the business of motor racing.

Our research shows approximately every third person in the key international markets is interested in motorsport. Racing has truly global reach and, where sport is concerned, only football is more popular. As such, major series such as Formula One, NASCAR, MotoGP and World Superbike, in particular, attract substantial investment from sponsors. Yet this wealth of opportunities brings challenges and raises critical questions:

Where is motorsport going? Who are the target groups of the future and what can be done to generate and revive interest? With many different rights holders in this market, how can companies ensure they select the right engagement and maximise their ROI? Crucially, can investment in this business be effectively planned and its impact measured on a global scale?

Those questions and an array of other interesting topics will be discussed and presented by renowned speakers from companies such as Volkswagen, Sauber Motorsport, Aston Martin, Chip Ganassi Racing and Chevrolet Europe. Our pre- and post-conference programme, peppered with attractions, will provide our guests with outstanding networking opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere. The congress will be hosted by Wolfgang Rother. The programme begins at 9.30am and concludes at 5.30pm. A get-together the night before and a gala dinner on the evening of the summit will provide excellent additional opportunities for networking.
